Install the desktop daemon to connect your phone to your dev environment.

Quick install via Terminal (macOS/Linux)

curl -fsSL tryfinn.ai/install | sh

macOS Installation

  1. 1Download the DMG for your Mac (Apple Silicon or Intel)
  2. 2Double-click the DMG to open it
  3. 3Drag Finn to your Applications folder
  4. 4Open Finn from Applications (right-click → Open first time to bypass Gatekeeper)
  5. 5The app will appear in your menu bar - click "Sign In" to connect

First time opening Finn? macOS quarantines apps downloaded from the internet. After installing, open Terminal and run:

xattr -cr /Applications/Finn.app

Or install via terminal (curl -fsSL tryfinn.ai/install | sh) which handles this automatically.

System Requirements

  • macOS 11 (Big Sur) or later
  • Windows 10 or Windows 11
  • Linux (headless/CLI mode)
  • Claude Code CLI installed
